What personal data we collect and why we collect it
When you initially contact us, we ask you for your contact name, address, telephone number and email address to enable us to communicate with you.
If you progress your enquiry, we may also collect additonal details from you, for you and your family (both living and deceased). For example the dates of birth, marriage and death and the locations involved. This is to help us commence our research and to include relevant information in your final report. (If a relative is still alive, it is your responsibility to check with them first to ensure you have their permission to share this information with us).
The information you provide will be retained for the purposes of your research and then for a further period of 2 years after, unless you request it to be deleted beforehand.
